My third run this week finished with a 5k Park Run at Peter Pan Park, This is my 4rd Park run, always enjoy the experience of running with others and having the chance to have a chat beforehand.
Its amazing how quickly you make friends at the events.
My time as I expected was slow but not as slow as my 5k run a few days ago. I completed the run in 37 minutes, 2 minutes faster then my previous run.
I was trying to follow my Runna plan which is hard when at a public run, my watch kept telling me to slow down!
Still finding 5k a challenge, won't be long before they are comfortable again. I remember last year I was running 10k and thinking thats easy!
Since my break my fitness has reset, I need to build it up again. I keep telling myself don't worry about time and just complete the distance. Time will improve as my fitness does.
