My first injury!

David Carr

Training

I did an easy run covering 10k tonight, kept telling myself to slow down as it was meant to be an easy run. Honestly its harder to run slow then it is to run at your normal pace.

Since it was dark, I had my lights on my chest so I can see the ground, half way through the run I noticed my lights getting very dim, I should have charged them before coming out.

Right at the end of my run the lights ran out of charge I only had a few meters to go, so carried on went around a corner and tripped! I flow about 4 feet sliding across the floor splitting my elbow and knees!

This is definitely going to set my training back a few days!

I'm learning the hard way always have charged lights when running in the dark!!
